Demon Slayer Manga Chapter 17

Some names are traps. Demon Slayer Chapter 17 springs Muzan’s curse: when Susamaru, manipulated by Tamayo’s spell, speaks of Kibutsuji, his cells inside her body awaken and destroy her from within. The mighty hunter dies begging like a child for someone to play with her, and the cruelty is unbearable to watch.

Yahaba’s death throes nearly kill Tanjiro too, arrows slamming him around the yard until his bones crack. Dawn ends what the swords began. In the quiet that follows, Tamayo kneels beside what remains of Susamaru and confirms the terrible truth: these were not even members of the Twelve Kizuki.
